This role supports the overall kitchen operation, ensuring food is prepared safely, efficiently, and attractively. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, or room service, depending on shift and hotel needs. Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality. Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (grills, ovens, fryers, slicers, etc.). Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and tools. Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times. Assist in prep work such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and preparing sauces. Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory or quality issues to supervisors. Assist with cleaning and closing duties as assigned, including waste disposal. Work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure timely and efficient service. Comply with hotel policies and local health department regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
