## Electrical JourneymanApplylocations: Indianapolis, IN (MEP HQ)time type: Full timeposted on: Posted 3 Days Agojob requisition id: JR106754### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Install electrical systems for commercial construction projects* Run conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC) and pull wire according to plans and specifications* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings* Install panels, switchgear, lighting systems, and other electrical components* Perform layout and planning for electrical runs and installations* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during construction phases* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and project specifications* Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment* Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on-site### **Required Skills and Abilities*** Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction practices* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings* Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, and system installation* Understanding of NEC codes and safety standards* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Reliable with strong work ethic and attendance### **Education and Qualifications*** Journeyman Electrician license preferred (or equivalent field experience)* 4+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred* Previous experience on construction job sites required* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred* Ability to provide own tools### **Physical Requirements*** Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly* Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various job site conditions* Comfortable working at heights and on lifts when required* Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions### About UsFounded in 1968, Edwards Electrical & Mechanical, Inc. has grown to become one of the largest electrical/mechanical contracting firms in Indiana and the Midwest.
