Providence Place Senior Living is hiring a full-time Activities Associate for the Connections memory support neighborhood at our Dover campus. You'll lead purposeful, joy-filled activities for residents experiencing early signs of dementia — the kind of work where a poetry reading or an art project genuinely makes someone's day. What you'll do Lead engaging daily activities: Memory Magic, Time Slips storytelling, poetry, book clubs, art therapy, and more Facilitate the Connections Club morning meeting — you set the tone for every resident's day Encourage and motivate residents to join in, stay active mentally and physically, and feel that sense of accomplishment Transport and accompany residents on outings Keep simple documentation of resident participation Serve food, drinks, and snacks during activities — hospitality is part of the fun Partner with caregivers and every department on campus to protect residents' dignity and independence Schedule Full-time, 8:30am–5:00pm. Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday, with some evenings required.

What you bring High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (you'll drive residents on outings) Patient, encouraging, personable, creative — you genuinely enjoy being around people Understanding of — or willingness to learn about — working with residents with memory impairment Good communication skills, written and spoken Comfortable on your feet and able to lift up to 50 lbs Prior retirement living or recreation experience a plus, but not required Pay & benefits Starting at $16.00/hour, plus full-time benefits: health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, PTO, your birthday as a holiday, and more.
