Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-Hour Day Shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM | 3 Shifts per Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday coverage based on unit needs (Christmas Eve or Day and New Year's Eve or Day)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float to all acute care units as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in unit orientation and required training during onboarding week

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas RN License or Compact RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum of 18 months of experience in a hospital setting with Orthopedic & Spine experience
• New graduates are not eligible for this position
• Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday coverage as assigned
• Facility is a nicotine-free environment; compliance is required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic EMR
• Experience floating across multiple acute care units
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a high-acuity hospital environment
