Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered State of South Dakota license to practice.

• Nursing experience; preferable in the long-term care setting.

• Leadership competencies including developed interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to inspire and operate effectively at all levels.

• Must reside in Milbank or surrounding areas, or be willing to relocate to the Milbank, South Dakota area.

Responsibilities

As a Director of Nursing, you are the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at  Avantara Milbank by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting, and attaining Nursing Department goals, inspiring your clinical team, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.
