Job Summary:
Martin Coast Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Hobe Sound, Florida. As a Physical Therapist on our team, you will have the opportunity to provide top-quality, life-changing care to our residents and make a meaningful difference in their lives. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of medical conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, and cardiovascular disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' range of motion, strength, balance, and mobility
- Conduct daily therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and modalities as prescribed by the patient's plan of care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality care and coordination
- Document patient progress, including treatment notes, billing information, and discharge summaries
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area, including equipment and supplies
Requirements:
- Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Florida
- Bachelor's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed
