JOBThe Boone County Sheriff’s Office, located in Columbia, MO, is looking for a Quartermaster / Supply / Inventory Technician.The Boone County Sheriff's Office is a top tier law enforcement organization. We are the only Sheriff’s Office in Missouri that has achieved two national accreditations from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) for our law enforcement operations and from the National Institute for Jail Operations (NIJO) for our jail operations.The staff at the Sheriff’s Office are dedicated to serving their community with the highest degree of professionalism and to serving the training needs of our law enforcement partners. We have been providing training to other law enforcement agencies since 2015 to help with the professional development of our law enforcement partners.As part of its commitment to providing high quality training to other law enforcement agencies, we took over operations of the local law enforcement training academy in 2024. During the same year we received funding to develop a new Regional Training Center to further support the training mission for area law enforcement. That new facility is now open!The Sheriff’s Office is committed to supporting its staff. As part of that commitment, we are developing a childcare center for our employees and anticipate opening in 2026.
