Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Manage discharges and admissions. - Basic cardiac drip knowledge.

Preferred Credentials: - BSN preferred.

Unit Details: - Med/Surg overflow. - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Common diagnoses and treatments include CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, uncontrolled diabetics, CKD, and post-cardiac cath care. - Equipment includes Welch Allyn V/S machine, Hoyer lift with weight scale, Abbott glucometer, computers on wheels, TR band, and Baxter IV pumps.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other or every third weekend. - No call.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:
