Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing personalized recommendations Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation procedures Manage cash handling duties, including cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end Support food service operations by serving baked goods, snacks, and light meals in a timely manner Ensure a welcoming environment by engaging with customers, addressing concerns promptly, and delivering excellent customer service Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within cafés or the food industry Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cashiering Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures CA Food Handlers Upon Hire Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr Nia Hotel
