To learn more about what makes us #GibraltarProud, visit our website: Position Summary: Primary Responsibilities: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories (e.g., steel, electrical components, mechanical systems, construction services, indirect spend). Lead competitive bidding processes (RFQs, RFPs), supplier evaluations, and total cost of ownership analyses. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and risk mitigation. Identifyand implement cost reduction and value engineering opportunities. Build andmaintainstrong relationships with key suppliers and contractors. Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to reduce risk and enhance supply flexibility. Support supplier audits and compliance with company policies and industry standards. Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to support procurement for greenhouse construction and infrastructure projects. Manage procurement timelines, ensuring alignment with project schedules. Track andexpeditecritical materials and services to avoid delays. Oversee purchase order lifecycle from requisition through delivery and invoice resolution. Ensureaccurateandtimelyprocurement transactions within ERP systems. Maintain compliance with procurement policies and internal controls. Partner with engineering, finance, operations, andlogisticsteams to align procurement strategies with businessobjectives. Provide market intelligence (pricing trends, supply risks, commodity insights) to stakeholders. Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to material and project costs. Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field 5+years of relevant experiencerequired Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis) and overall Microsoft Office suite Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Deep understanding of sourcing strategies and cost analysis. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong project management and organizational skills. Effective communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience sourcing metals (steel, aluminum), MRO, or engineered components. Familiarity with capital equipment procurement or construction-related sourcing is a plus. Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPIM, CSCP) are a plus.
