Class A CDL Driver

Job Summary

The Driver is responsible for operation of a grease collection truck to collect cooking oil, service, or raw materials while providing quality service to our customers. This driver will return to our Cleveland facility.

Work Schedule: Sunday night thru Thursday night; Start Time: 8:00pm; Hours per day: 10 - 12.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Pump or load grease containers; ensure cleanliness of container and surrounding area; returns container with screen and lock secured; notes any damages to container or corral area; properly completes route ticket with customer signature.
• Responsible for established route as assigned.
• Responsible for company vehicle; keeps vehicle in clean condition.
• Conducts all safety checks and inspections of vehicle; operates vehicle under state, federal, local regulations and in accordance with company policy and procedures; observes all company safety rules.
• Attendance at all safety meetings required; may be asked to serve on Safety Committee.
• Maintain excellent customer relations by presenting professional appearance and attitude.
• Responsible for completing all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc.).
• Maintain and update vehicle condition report on a daily basis.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old with clean MVR.
• Current CDL A license holder with proper tanker endorsements required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior route experience within a customer oriented environment preferred.
• Works well with others in a team environment.
• Dependable; reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
• Good math and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle and general maintenance.
