Description

The Creative Marketing Manager is responsible for bringing the Roncelli brand to life through compelling visual storytelling, graphic design, photography, videography, and creative content development. This role supports company-wide marketing initiatives by producing high-quality creative assets that strengthen Roncelli's brand, support business development pursuits, enhance recruiting efforts, promote company culture, and showcase projects across multiple markets.

Working closely with the Group Director - Marketing and Digital Marketing Manager, this position serves as the organization's primary creative resource, ensuring brand consistency across all digital, print, and visual communications while helping elevate Roncelli's reputation throughout the construction industry.

Travel Expectations: Occasional travel to project sites, company events, recruiting events, trade shows, and industry conferences. Local travel throughout Michigan is expected for photography, videography, and marketing support. Limited overnight travel may be required.

Actual compensation within the posted range will be based on qualifications, experience, and overall alignment with the role requirements.

Qualifications

Role and Responsibilities

• Create high-quality marketing collateral including brochures, capability statements, project sheets, advertisements, infographics, presentations, and recruiting materials.
• Maintain and protect Roncelli's corporate brand standards, ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications.
• Develop creative concepts that effectively communicate Roncelli's culture, capabilities, and value proposition.
• Assist in maintaining brand guidelines, templates, logos, and corporate visual identity.

Graphic Design & Marketing Materials

• Photography & Video Production
• Capture professional photography of construction projects, employees, community events, and company activities.
• Produce employee spotlight videos, recruiting videos, project highlight videos, and customer success stories.
• Edit video content for websites, presentations, social media, recruiting campaigns, and internal communications.
• Manage and organize the company's digital media library.
• Design print and digital advertisements.
• Produce proposal graphics, organizational charts, process diagrams, and technical illustrations.
• Create PowerPoint presentations for executive leadership, business development, recruiting, and project pursuits.
• Design event materials including banners, signage, displays, promotional items, and booth graphics.
• Support development of recruiting campaigns and employer branding materials.

Social Media & Digital Content

• Develop creative assets for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
• Design social media graphics, carousels, reels, animations, and motion graphics.
• Support execution of social media campaigns by providing engaging visual content.
• Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure creative content aligns with digital marketing strategies.

Business Development & Proposal Support

• Partner with Business Development and Proposal teams to create compelling pursuit graphics and interview presentations.
• Design project-specific visuals, maps, renderings, timelines, and organizational graphics.
• Assist with visual storytelling that strengthens client presentations and proposal submissions.
• Support marketing efforts for strategic pursuits and major client opportunities.

Events & Corporate Communications

• Provide creative support for company events, trade shows, career fairs, recruiting events, and community initiatives.
• Assist in creating internal communications, newsletters, recognition programs, and company announcements.
• Develop branded materials supporting employee engagement and company culture initiatives.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, Human Resources, Operations, and Executive Leadership on creative initiatives.
• Stay current with design trends, photography techniques, video production technologies, and creative software.
• Recommend new creative tools, technologies, and processes that improve marketing effectiveness.
• Support additional marketing initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat.
• Strong photography, videography, lighting, and video editing experience.
• Experience with video editing software such as CapCut and Premiere Pro
• Excellent graphic design skills with strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience creating content for digital marketing, social media, recruiting, and business development initiatives.
• Working knowledge of branding principles and visual identity management.
• Experience supporting proposal development and executive presentations preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva (as a supplemental tool), and digital asset management systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
• Knowledgeable in company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional graphic design, branding, photography, videography, or creative marketing experience.
• Portfolio Requirement: Professional portfolio demonstrating graphic design, photography, branding, video production, and creative marketing work required.
• Preferred Experience: Experience supporting construction, architecture, engineering, industrial, or commercial organizations.
• Screening Requirements: Pre-employment and annual drug testing required; background check, including driving record check as required by client.
• Valid Driver's License Required

Working Environment and Physical Requirements

This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with occasional travel to project sites, company offices, recruiting events, trade shows, and client locations. The role requires prolonged periods of computer use, creative design work, photography, videography, meetings, and presentations. The employee may occasionally walk active construction sites while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), lift or move equipment or marketing materials weighing up to 25 pounds, and travel as business needs require. Compliance with company safety policies and jobsite requirements is required when visiting active construction projects.
