Floater Security Officer (Unarmed, Part-Time)


Location: Mt. Pocono Area


Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour


Schedule: On Call/As Needed | Open Availability


Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Unarmed Floater Security Officer to join our team in the Lehigh Valley area. This part-time role requires flexibility to cover multiple sites as needed. Ideal candidates will have prior security experience, particularly in floater, flex, or patrol roles.


Available Shifts
  • 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Schedules may vary based on site coverage needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional, visible security presence at various assigned locations
  • Conduct routine patrols and inspections
  • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions
  • Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports
  • Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining safety standards
Requirements
  • Prior security experience required (floater, flex, or patrol experience preferred)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
