Medical Biller Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 22.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Receiving and verifying payment information including EOBs and ERAs
• Preparing and submitting clean claims to various insurance companies and executing claim follow-up with insurance carriers until paid or resolved.
• Secure necessary medical documentation requested by insurance carriers, patients, and/or legal representation
• Identify and resolve patient billing complaints
• Preparing, reviewing, and sending patient statements
• Evaluating patient's financial status and establishing budget payment plans
• Performing various collection actions including contacting patients by phone; correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers
• Posting payments from insurance companies

Medical Biller Qualifications:

• 2 years of medical billing/AR experience in the urgent care/primary care setting
• Certification in billing and coding is a plus
• Proficient in medical billing/collection practice
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a departmental team
• The ability to resolve conflicts and possesses problem-solving skills

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
