Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project Manager Hybrid-style role based between two primary locations: Wolf Creek Contracting office in Waterford, Ohio, and active job sites, with majority of time spent in the field on project sites. Remote work is not available for this position. About the Company Wolf Creek Contracting is a general contractor serving commercial, industrial, and municipal markets in states across the eastern United States. Services we provide include general contracting, design-build, construction management, concrete, civil, industrial, new construction, additions and renovations, and streetscapes. Primary Purpose The primary purpose of the Assistant Project Manager is to assist the Project Managers in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure document control and various requests having to do with project detail.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Retrieving submittals, entering submittals into the system and submitting Entering time into the system for weekly timecards Entering schedule of values Manage subcontractor paperwork and pay Estimate subcontractor breakout to Operations Assistant Process change order requests Review forms of request – RFIs, PRs, ASIs, and bulletins Process purchase orders Develop take offs Verify W9s, lien waivers and insurance requirements for subcontracts and purchase orders Track receiving tickets and balance with purchase orders Assist Project Manager in Project Close-Out Set-up all new projects in accounting system and in project folders

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in construction technology or related field is desired but not required Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required Excellent communication skills Work well in a fast-paced team environment Willingness to learn and follow corporate processes and the chain of command
