Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - 2340 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Sunrise is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Capital Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Head-to-toe assessment. Orthopedic care knowledge. IV medication administration including management of Lasix drips, heparin drips, IVP metoprolol, diltiazem, and insulin IV or subQ. Wound care including drain management and vacs. NGT/G-tube care and parenteral nutrition. Central line management including PICC, HD catheters, and midlines. Foley, nephrostomy, and suprapubic catheter care. Ostomy care. Postoperative patient care.

Preferred Skills/Experience: HCA knowledge is a plus.

Unit Details: Urology patient population. Patient ratios: 1:5 days; 1:6 nights. Uses Hoyer lifts, automated BP machines, bladder scanners, remote telemetry monitoring, and vein finders.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Floats to like MST units (D1, F2); float pool then travelers generally float first.
