We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing and construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, as well as proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate will possess construction site experience and mechanical knowledge, ensuring all welding tasks meet industry standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities: Welder:

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and procedures.
• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques with precision.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting sheet metal, pipe, or structural components using plasma cutters, press brake machines, and hand tools.
• Conduct fabrication tasks including assembly of components according to specifications while adhering to ASME codes & standards.
• Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling on construction sites or within manufacturing facilities.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy during fabrication.
• Maintain a clean work environment by inspecting welds for quality, testing completed work for integrity, and documenting procedures.
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving pipe threading, ductwork installation, or mechanical assembly.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously while working with power tools and heavy machinery in diverse environments.
• Support ongoing maintenance or repair tasks by soldering or performing mechanical modifications as needed.

Skills: Welder:

• Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety standards.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques; experience with welding is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes including plasma cutting, press brake operation, and sheet metal work.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments.
• Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, assembly processes, and manufacturing practices.
• Experience operating forklifts and rigging equipment safely on job sites or in workshops.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to welding and fabrication projects.
