Responsibilities Execute the safe transport of raw and finished materials throughout the warehouse and outdoor yard. Optimize load configurations to maximize operational throughput and efficiency. Assemble, secure, and accurately label material bundles for storage or shipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure peak performance. Mentor new team members by providing hands-on training and monitoring progress against safety checklists. Maintain clear documentation of daily activities and communicate operational needs to management. Uphold rigorous safety standards and ensure compliance with all operational protocols. Required Skills Proven experience operating and maintaining industrial forklift equipment. Ability to interpret technical prints and utilize precision measuring devices. Strong mathematical aptitude for inventory and dimension calculations. Capacity to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration. High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant material handling experience. Preferred Skills Current forklift certification or licensure. Demonstrated experience in a leadership or training capacity. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and documentation processes.
