Job Summary


Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Treatment Nurse to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for direct patient care, clinical assessments, medication and lab oversight, emergency response, and health education. You will act as a key point of contact for residents, ensuring quality care is provided in a safe and compliant environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform medical intake for new residents, including reviewing recent provider visits, current medications, and required accommodations.
• Conduct patient health assessments, provide basic wound care, and respond to medical or psychiatric emergencies.
• Oversee the medication observation program and manage the CLIA-waived laboratory.
• Respond immediately to medical and psychiatric emergencies using established protocols.
• Order and arrange transport for medical and nursing supplies, monitoring expiration dates.
• Provide health education and promote healthy behaviors to the community.
• Act as the primary point of contact for medical intake, medications, lab services, and health education.
• Participate in internal quality improvement teams aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN License (Registered Nurse).
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Knowledge of medication administration and psychiatric diagnoses.
• Experience or interest in working with the American Indian/Alaska Native population is preferred.

Skills

• Ability to perform medical intakes, patient assessments, basic wound care, and phlebotomy.
• Competency in overseeing medication observation programs and ensuring CLIA-waived laboratory compliance.
