Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy
• Work in tandem with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Accurately record procedures and keep patient records updated within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and techniques

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferably completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
