As a Quality Assurance Analyst on our team, you’ll work with data engineers that evaluate developed systems for the Veterans Administration. You’ll help develop and implement a test plan based on user stories. Using Azure, Oracle, and AWS-based data, you’ll generate problem resolutions and track quality assurance standards to observe how the system performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You’ll expand upon your experience in various types of testing, including manual and automated. You Have: 3+ years of experience with analyzing and profiling data 2+ years of experience with querying or working with data using SQL and PySpark 2+ years of experience with building automated testing frameworks that can be used to proactively catch data issues Experience with Azure Tools used for data engineering and ELT, including Azure Synapse or Azure Databricks Knowledge of best testing practices and patterns in a Cloud environment Ability to work as part of a mid-sized team, with minimal direction, and rapidly build test plans and test sets using standard test planning tools Ability to implement, build, and execute test plan using CoTS automated tooling or script-based testing with Python or Scala Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science field Nice If You Have: Experience with Cloud-based testing tools, including Collibra's Data Quality Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence Ability to integrate testing protocols to monitoring applications, including Dynatrace or Splunk Ability to document standards and test plans Azure Data Engineer Certification Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
