Job Overview As a Dishwasher & Prep Cook at Evviva Trattoria, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen while assisting in preparing ingredients for our signature Italian dishes. Key Responsibilities Dishwashing Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitation. Maintain the dishwashing area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Properly dispose of waste and recycling. Assist in keeping the kitchen tidy by cleaning counters, floors, and storage areas. Ensure the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, glassware, and utensils at all times. Prep Cook Assist the chefs by preparing ingredients such as chopping vegetables, prepping proteins, and measuring out ingredients for daily specials and regular menu items. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety standards. Maintain proper food storage and labeling. Assist in assembling and garnishing dishes according to recipe specifications. Help with inventory management and ingredient restocking. Qualifications Prior experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role (dishwashing and prep cooking). Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
