Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Manufacturing Engineer – Contract to Hire (Furniture Manufacturing Industry) Salary: Up to $120,000 We’re seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading furniture manufacturing company on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is focused on improving production processes, driving efficiency, and supporting innovation in design and manufacturing techniques. Key Responsibilities Process Optimization – Analyze and improve existing manufacturing workflows to enhance efficiency, product quality, and sustainability. Innovation – Support the development and implementation of new methods, tools, and technologies for furniture manufacturing and aluminum-based components. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with design, production, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of process improvements that meet product specifications. Technology Integration – Assist in the implementation of new systems, automation, and equipment to streamline operations and boost performance. Lean Manufacturing – Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean principles to reduce waste and increase value. Required Skills & Background Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical drawings, and tolerances. Experience with product design and proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar). Familiarity with rapid prototyping and other innovative manufacturing techniques. Proven ability to balance precision, efficiency, and quality in a fast-paced production environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
