BAS Controls Construction Manager – Boston, MA – $110K–$160K + Bonus – Data Center & Building Automation About the Opportunity: A well-established Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking an experienced BAS Controls Construction Manager in Boston, MA.This role oversees BAS construction, system upgrades, and retrofit work across mission-critical and commercial environments.The position offers excellent compensation, comprehensive benefits, and strong long-term career advancement opportunities. Manage project financials, schedules, subcontractors, and field execution activities. Ensure safe construction practices and full compliance with building codes, standards, and QA/QC requirements. Oversee BMS controls installation, HVAC system enhancements, and facility infrastructure improvements. Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, submittals, and construction documentation. Coordinate installation efforts with engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. Troubleshoot field challenges, assist with onsite technical resolution, and maintain project momentum. Deliver projects on time while meeting quality expectations and client objectives. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience managing Building Automation System construction or controls integration projects. Strong technical background in BAS/BMS systems, HVAC controls, and mechanical/electrical coordination. Ability to lead subcontractor crews and multi-trade project teams in the field. Skilled at reading technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Excellent communication, leadership, planning, and organizational abilities. Experience with mission-critical or data center environments is preferred.
