About This Role
Upstate Children's Center of Walhalla, Inc. offers a welcoming family environment and fosters opportunities for both staff and families in our community.
Shift: Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, making it an ideal choice for students balancing college and work commitments.
What You'll Do- Offer support and supervision to children in our care, prioritizing their well-being and safety
- Foster open communication with children, their parents, and our staff to ensure a smooth experience for all
- Create a secure and nurturing environment where children can thrive
- Develop engaging activities that promote learning and education
- Play a key role in nurturing children's social and emotional growth
- Maintain a tidy and organized classroom environment that reflects our commitment to excellence
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting children up to 40 pounds and performing other tasks as needed
- Must pass background checks
- 18 years old+
- High school diploma or GED required
Prior experience working with children is a valuable asset in this role.
