Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) for an exciting travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to provide care in a Level 4 NICU setting, handling a variety of patient needs from feeder growers to complex ICU neonatal patients.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU

• Utilizes nursing process for patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administers medications and treatments, monitoring side effects and effectiveness
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Evaluates learning needs and provides educational resources to patients, families, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - NICU

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in neonatal care preferred
• Current BLS Certification (AHA only)
• STABLE certification, including Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor levels
• Current NRP Certification
• RN License in the state of TX or compact
