Veterinary Technician/Assistant

Overview Solomons Veterinary Medical Center is hiring an Experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant. Role: Experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant. Status: Full-time. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures. Support patient care through nursing, diagnostics, and treatment assistance. Assist with laboratory procedures, radiographs, and sample collection. Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures as appropriate. Educate clients and support positive patient outcomes. Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation. Collaborate closely with doctors and teammates to provide excellent patient care. Support daily hospital operations while promoting a positive client experience. Qualifications Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience required. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Positive attitude and willingness to support fellow team members. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and client service. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Passion for veterinary medicine and continued learning.
