Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery unit. The RN will provide exceptional care to expectant mothers and newborns, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment during childbirth. This role will involve collaboration with a diverse medical team and the use of advanced medical technology to support high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients during labor and delivery.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Provide immediate care to newborns post-delivery.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief procedures.
• Educate and support families during the childbirth process.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• High-risk obstetric experience is required.
• Immediate newborn care experience is essential.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
