Position Overview We are looking for an empathetic and skilled Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech to join our dedicated imaging team in providing outstanding patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technologies, you will conduct essential diagnostic procedures, work closely with a strong support system of clinicians, and help ease patient anxieties through prompt and precise imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure patient comfort and safety by clearly explaining every procedure with empathy and patience
- Engage collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
- Document procedures accurately and uphold meticulous patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is mandatory
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- High level of technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and understanding of patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities
- Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework
