Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care tasks have been delegated
• Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate patient care
• Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff at the unit level
• Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care delivery

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in an ICU or CCU setting
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system
• Ability to delegate and supervise clinical staff appropriately

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a cardiovascular, surgical, or medical ICU environment
• Familiarity with multi-unit ICU settings including CVICU, SICU, or MICU
