Henry Ford Nursing uses evidence-based practice, professional practice standards and the Henry Ford Hospital Professional Nurse Practice Model to drive nursing practice.Position: 36 hours per week Shift: Midnights 12 Hour ShiftsEvery other weekend and Holiday Rotations Benefits: Full time benefit packageInternal candidates must apply with internal profileEducation/Experience Required:Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.Preferred experience in the specialty. Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.Certifications/Licensures Required:Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
