Requirements / Qualifications:

Two Letters of Recommendation Class C California Driver's License Education: Equivalent to the completion of high school. Successful completion of a district van driving training program (in-house). Experience: Three (3) years of California Class C Licensed driving experience. Open recruitment to create an eligibility list. Other Conditions of Employment: The goal of the Van Driver is to obtain training for, and obtain, an unrestricted Special Driving Certificate to drive a Type 2 school bus with an Automatic Transmission within six (6) months of hire. EXAMINATION PROCEDURES: Following the recruitment closing date, the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated. Those who pass screening will be invited to participate in a written examination, DATE :TBD Those who pass the written examination will be invited to a Performance and Interview Panel with subject matter experts, Date: TBD. Based on the final scores, a ranked candidate list will be established. Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a final interview with the hiring administrator. Therefore, it is recommended that candidates check their email at least daily.

The Fremont Unified School District is a Merit System District and fills all vacancies in the classified service through competitive examinations.
