Job Description

This role focuses on wiring and racking customer parts, supporting the inspection process, and ensuring all products meet detailed specifications and quality standards. You will work as a wire technician, verifying product information and counts before any wiring or racking begins, and performing inspections and final testing using a variety of measuring tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wire and rack customer parts according to established procedures and specifications.
• Verify product information, counts, and documentation before beginning any wiring or racking activities.
• Assist with inspection of parts throughout the production process to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Perform inspections using equipment such as gage pins, microscopes, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Conduct final inspection and testing of parts in accordance with blueprints and customer specifications.
• Read and follow blueprints and work instructions accurately to complete tasks correctly and consistently.
• Work with small parts carefully and patiently, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Complete repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy, following all quality and production standards.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures within a manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues related to product quality, counts, or specifications.

Essential Skills

• Experience working within a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to perform inspections per required specifications using gage pins, microscopes, calipers, and multiple types of measuring equipment.
• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction with decimals and converting decimals to fractions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Ability to work with small part items with patience and care.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and related documentation.
• Comfort with completing repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality.
• Measuring skills, including the ability to use calipers effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in general production, assembly, or manufacturing roles.
• Experience in quality inspection or general labor within a production environment.
• Familiarity with packaging and handling of finished parts.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to meet quality and production standards.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new processes and tools.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing setting with a focus on production, assembly, and inspection of customer parts. You will regularly use tools such as gage pins, microscopes, calipers, and various measuring instruments to complete inspections and final testing. The role involves working with small parts and performing repetitive tasks while maintaining high quality standards. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing a consistent daytime schedule. The environment emphasizes safety, precision, and teamwork, with clear procedures and expectations to support success on the production floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seaford, DE.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
