Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour Job Schedule Mon – 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM Tue – 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM Wed – 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM Thu – 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM Fri – 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Screen employees, visitors, and/or deliveries at designated entry points by checking identification, monitoring access, and reporting unauthorized or unusual activity. Operate and monitor screening‑related equipment and follow post instructions for prohibited items, visitor processing, and incident documentation. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, while communicating with site contacts, the public, and/or first responders as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry areas and nearby perimeter locations to help support security‑related operations and report concerns. Minimum Requirements: 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, corrections or a college degree. Proof of a high school diploma or GED. Must be 21+ years of age. Guard card or license is required. X‑ray screening experience is preferred. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
