About the Position

Job Title: EEO Investigator Profession: EEO Investigator Specialty: - Duration: 8 Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Hours per Shift: 37.5 Experience: 4+ years of experience conducting EEO related investigations License: Bachelor's Degree is required; JD is preferred Certifications: - Must-Have: Must be familiar with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws Description: Through the supervised efforts of the Office of Legal Affairs, the responsibilities of the EEO Investigator include, but are not limited to, the following: Investigate internal complaints of discrimination, including claims of harassment. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws to ensure equal opportunity within the terms, conditions, and privileges of employment. Provide an internal avenue of redress through the investigation and resolution of complaints of unlawful employment discrimination and harassment. Assist with other assignments and special projects as required. The EEO Investigator must be familiar with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws. Strong investigative skills are essential, along with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. The ability to quickly synthesize information to distill critical issues and formulate recommendations that consider risks, benefits, and alternative perspectives is necessary. Strong people skills are required to understand and effectively navigate within a large organizational structure. The ability to work in a fast-paced setting is also important.
