Services include cosmetic injectables, medical‑grade skincare, collagen stimulation treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, wellness services, and hormone optimization. Position Overview Anticipated Opening: November 2026 The Medical Director will provide physician oversight and guidance for a Florida APRN‑owned medical aesthetics and wellness practice. This role is ideal for an actively practicing physician, semi‑retired physician, or physician seeking a flexible medical director position. To meet applicable Florida requirements, candidates should have a primary practice location within the geographic requirements established by Florida law and be located within the required distance of the practice location at Winter Springs, FL 32708. Preference will be given to physicians whose primary practice is located within Seminole County or a contiguous county, including Orange, Volusia, Brevard, or Lake County. This position is designed to offer flexible physician involvement with remote oversight and consultation, combined with periodic onsite participation as needed for compliance, protocol review, and practice support. The Medical Director will assist with clinical protocols, compliance oversight, patient safety initiatives, and physician consultation when needed while supporting a professionally operated and compliant practice model. Responsibilities Serve as Medical Director in accordance with applicable Florida laws and regulations. Review and approve clinical protocols, standing orders, and treatment guidelines. Provide oversight for aesthetic and wellness services offered by the practice. Support clinical workflows within appropriate provider scope of practice. Participate in periodic chart audits and documentation review. Be available for consultation and clinical escalation when appropriate. Assist with patient safety, informed consent, and risk management protocols. Provide guidance regarding complication management, referral pathways, and escalation procedures. Participate in periodic meetings, site visits, and compliance reviews as needed. Assist with maintaining a clinically sound, compliant, and patient‑centered care model. Qualifications Required Active and unrestricted Florida MD or DO license. Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Plastic Surgery or Dermatology. Experience or comfort working within an aesthetic medicine environment. Ability to provide documented medical director services and oversight. Strong understanding of patient safety, ethics, and regulatory compliance. Ability to maintain or verify appropriate malpractice coverage for medical director activities. Preferred Prior medical director experience. Experience supervising advanced practice providers. Familiarity with regenerative aesthetics and wellness‑based treatment models. Experience in med spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or cosmetic medicine settings. Interest in supporting the growth of a modern aesthetic and wellness practice. Compensation Compensation is negotiable and will be based on the scope of involvement, consultation availability, chart review expectations, protocol development responsibilities, and onsite participation.
