Customer Field Technicians II Location: Phoenix, AZ 85083 Role Type: 100% Onsite Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Applied Materials in partnership with Raise We are hiring and seeking motivated Customer Field Technicians II to support semiconductor equipment operations in a customer FAB environment. In this role, you will support the assembly, installation preparation, and movement of semiconductor equipment and components. This is a hands‑on position requiring strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, quality- and safety‑driven environment. Responsibilities Mechanical Assembly: Perform mechanical assembly and subassembly of equipment, modules, and components. Tools & Equipment: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete assigned work. Technical Documentation: Read and follow work instructions, engineering drawings, procedures, and checklists. Installation Support: Support equipment staging, installation preparation, material movement, and site readiness activities. Equipment Adjustments: Assist with equipment levelling, alignment, and basic mechanical adjustments. Quality: Verify component quality and identify discrepancies or defects. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of completed work. Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies. Safety: Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and field teams. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, equipment assembly, field operations, maintenance, or related technical environments. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. Experience using hand tools and basic measuring equipment. Ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials consistent with job requirements. Ability to work in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or semiconductor equipment environments. Experience supporting equipment installations or manufacturing builds. Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, or electro‑mechanical assemblies. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
