Job Description _ General Summary: _ Full-Time Benefit Eligible Sign-On Bonus $7,500 Shift: 36 hours per week, Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating every other weekend and observed holiday Ready to make a real difference? Here's what you'll be doing on 4W Cardiac Stepdown: Lead with Compassion : Take charge of coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care that makes hearts (literally!) feel better. You'll be the go-to leader ensuring every patient gets the care they deserve. Master the Nursing Process : Put your clinical expertise to work! You'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care like a pro—creating effective nursing care plans that actually work. Communicate Like a Champion : Keep the whole healthcare team in the loop by sharing pertinent patient and family information. Clear communication = better outcomes, and you'll be the communication MVP. Delegate and Supervise with Confidence : Manage care delivery by delegating tasks, supervising team members, and documenting everything with precision. You've got this! Qualifications: Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
