Job Summary

Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Travel Administration & Government Audit Supervisor. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility and will have the option to work and in person or remote schedule. The Travel Administration Lead & Government Audit Coordinator leads the travel coordination and expense processing team, ensuring accurate classification of allowable and unallowable costs and timely employee reimbursements. Manages the government audit tracking register and provides support for payment‑related audit responses using detailed accounting records.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the business travel coordinator and expense processing team, ensuring effective operations and proper cost‑allowability oversight.

• Maintain and update the travel policy and the associated training curriculum.

• Track all government audits and requests for information, including receipt, internal assignment, due dates, status, and closure.

• Support scheduling of walkthroughs and system demonstrations.

• Provide audit support by preparing required data, materials, and system reports.

• Execute responses to invoice and payment audit requests by identifying supporting data, running system reports, and drafting and routing responses for approval.

• Prepare recurring accounting journal entries for monthly Business Travel Account (BTA) cost distribution.

• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or related field, required.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field, preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, required.
• Previous team lead or supervisory experience, required.
• Working knowledge of FAR Part 31 unallowable costs, required.

The salary range for this position is $72,654.00/year- $94,450.00/year for the states of Illinois and Minnesota. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
