Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate security-related channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter spaces, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behavior.
• Monitor activity on the property and assist with crowd management, loss prevention awareness, and/or de-escalation support during busy shopping periods and special events.
• Support retail operations by documenting incidents, providing directions and assistance to guests, and communicating with management and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
