• Shift / Schedule: Shift 2 Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed OR Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat 4:00 PM 2:30 AM
• Overtime: Overtime applicable

Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings industrial systems and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function responsible for providing support preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical electrical and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections diagnose potential problems and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
• Work exclusively on the automation portion of the facility.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on automation machines that process items to be distributed.

• Lockout/tagout (LOTO) knowledge

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma GED or trade school diploma required.
• In lieu of a diploma a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Required Experience

• 02 years of job-related experience.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• 1.2 million sq. ft. distribution facility.
• Candidate will be working with a team.
• All required tools will be provided.
• Must meet physical requirements including stooping standing walking and climbing stairs/ladders.
• Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Overtime applicable per assignment requirements.
• Background check required: CBRE Safety Specific with drug screen.

• Interview process: 1st round phone screen; 2nd round in-person with site tour.
• Contract-to-hire potential conversion to full-time employment is possible.
