Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – ED/Peds ED
Location: Syracuse, NY
Type: Contract | 15 Weeks (Temp to Hire)
Shift: Rotating shifts | Every other weekend + some holidays required
Pay Rate: $36/hr

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in an acute ED and Pediatric ED setting with minimal supervision
• Greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and assist during examinations
• Perform phlebotomy and IV insertion procedures
• Take and record vital signs and patient progress information
• Assist physicians with procedures and clinical support tasks
• Perform EKG application and related diagnostic support
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms and clinical areas
• Prepare patient charts and maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and scheduling as needed
• Observe and report patient responses to treatments and interventions

Requirements
• Active New York State LPN License required
• Current CPR/BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1 year LPN experience required
• ED or Pediatric ED experience required
• Phlebotomy and IV insertion experience required
• EKG application experience required
• Experience with EMR strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
