Make a meaningful difference for K-8 students with communication challenges as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). This engaging role focuses on providing exceptional support to a diverse group of 40 students with moderate to profound communication deficits, all at a single location near Norwalk, CT. You'll have the opportunity to shape the communication skills of children who benefit most, using your expertise in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and more.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid or eligible SLP licensure in Connecticut
• Prior experience in K-8 school settings preferred
• Proficiency with AAC devices is essential

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with a range of communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student engagement and progress
• Maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Educate school staff on best practices for supporting students with speech and language needs
