TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Leonardtown, Maryland, 20650!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience required. Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. License: Must hold a valid nursing license in the applicable state. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Must-Have: 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing. Ability to interpret dysrhythmias. Management of dysrhythmias skills required. Description: This position involves providing care on a telemetry unit. Candidate will engage in telemetry monitoring. Responsibilities include interpreting dysrhythmias and managing patient care effectively. The nurse will be required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed. Weekend and holiday shifts are required based on unit needs. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio will be 1:6. Additional skills include managing ports, administering medications, and wound care. Interdisciplinary support will be available in areas such as physical therapy and pharmacy. Patient diagnoses may include congestive heart failure, MI, and stroke. Proper use of equipment such as telemetry units, EKGs, and safe patient handling devices is expected. Candidates must adhere to all compliance requirements upon hire.
