Customer Service Representative
Havertown Carpet Co.
Location: Malvern & West Chester, PA (in office)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18.00–$26.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
About Havertown Carpet Co.
Havertown Carpet Co. is a growing, family-owned flooring company serving homeowners and businesses throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia. We are known for exceptional customer service, professional installation, and creating an outstanding experience from the first phone call through final installation.
We're looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced office environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
- Schedule in-home flooring estimates and installation appointments.
- Communicate with customers regarding orders, deliveries, installation schedules, and service requests.
- Coordinate daily with sales consultants, estimators, installers, warehouse staff, and management.
- Process customer paperwork, contracts, work orders, and payments.
- Maintain accurate customer records in company software.
- Assist customers with warranty questions and service issues.
- Follow up with customers after installation to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Help maintain an organized showroom and office environment.
- Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Customer service or office experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience with CRM, scheduling, or QuickBooks software is a plus.
- Flooring, construction, retail, or home improvement experience is preferred but not required.
