Job Title: Senior Solution Architect
Location: Remote (candidates preferred of Atlanta or Miami)
Duration : LonG term contract Job Description : We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture for a large-scale AI-led modernization program, transforming a mission-critical HP NonStop (COBOL/C++) platform into a modern Azure/.NET ecosystem.
This role requires strong expertise in legacy transformation, cloud-native architecture, and AI-led engineering practices, ensuring functional equivalence, scalability, and high-quality delivery. Description
Core Architecture Skills
Strong experience in enterprise solution architecture (application + data + integration)
Experience in large-scale modernization / re-engineering programs
Deep understanding of cloud-native design patterns (microservices / modular architecture) Technology Stack
.NET Core / .NET 6+ / .NET 8, C#
Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, ADF, APIs)
API design, integration patterns, messaging
Data architecture, ETL pipelines, migration strategies Legacy & Modernization Skills
HP NonStop / Mainframe concepts
COBOL, batch processing, legacy system design
Experience with code analysis, reverse engineering, and rule extraction AI & Agile Experience
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (GenAI / Agentic AI)
Experience in AI-led delivery models (AI generates, human validates)
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum / SAFe / iterative delivery) Nice to Have
BFSI domain experience (Insurance / Lending)
Experience in large enterprise transformation programs
Exposure to test automation, DevOps, and CI/CD frameworks
