Located 80 miles northwest of Duluth and 175 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul, this city of 11,000 residents provides an ideal setting for those who enjoy outdoor recreation while still having access to larger metropolitan areas.
Facility: \nThis state-of-the-art clinic features 24 exam rooms and is part of a physician-led practice. The facility utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and works in close collaboration with the team in Deer River (20 minutes away). The modern 20-bed Critical Access Hospital in Deer River provides 24/7 ER physician coverage and Nurse Triage services.
Opportunity: \nFamily Medicine - Hospitalist
\nJoin a growing team of 4 MDs and 4 Nurse Practitioners in a collaborative practice environment. This position offers a flexible FTE range from 0.6 to 1.0, allowing for work-life balance while providing comprehensive care.

- Clinic work primarily in Grand Rapids \n
- Hospitalist work at Deer River Hospital \n
- Hospitalist call approximately 1 week every 6 weeks (physicians serve as backup after ER docs) \n
- Hospitalist coverage includes 3-4 day stretches every 6 weeks in Deer River \n
- Additional opportunities for colposcopies, endoscopies, stress tests, and EGDs \n
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine required \n
- Serve a population of approximately 45,000 in the greater service area \n
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
