Job Description:

The RN in this position will provide care for patients on a telemetry unit, monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care using a comprehensive approach.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately and concisely.
• Float to like units or other facilities as needed.

Requirements:

• 2 Years of Stroke/Neuro experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications and passing EKG test required at time of submittal.
• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
• Willingness to float to other NorthShore facilities as needed.
• Weekend availability required every other weekend.
