Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for obstetric patients and groups per established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various nursing staff levels; coordinate care with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and other disciplines.
- Monitor labor progress and fetal status, administer and document medications as ordered, and assist with deliveries and postpartum care as needed.
- Utilize critical thinking, clinical judgment, and collaboration to ensure patient safety, comfort, and evidence-based care.
- Document assessments, plans, and progress clearly in the medical record; provide patient and family education as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active California RN license in good standing.
- Ability to work night shifts (12-hour) in a fast-paced inpatient L&D environment.
- Prior labor and delivery experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently when appropriate.
- Willingness to meet credentialing and compliance requirements for a travel assignment.
