Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire position in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in medication management and patient consultation to work collaboratively with a healthcare team. The position involves working primarily in an onsite setting with a standard 9-5:30 schedule and occasional weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure the supply of medicines is within the law
• Ensure that prescribed medicines are suitable for patients
• Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients
• Advise patients about medicines and answer their questions
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications
• Offer services such as smoking cessation and blood pressure measurement
• Educate patients on medical device handling
• Compound medications for external or internal use
• Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks
• Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Identify and communicate patient drug-related problems to physicians
• Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
• Licensed by the state pharmacy board
